Care Instructions

Turkish towels, throws and any handwoven textiles date well before the invention of washing machines and heat dryers, so some thought is necessary in their care and maintenance.

Using a gentle cycle in the washing machine and drying on low heat or air drying will help preserve the cotton and the fringe.  It is best to avoid fabric softeners, dryer sheets and bleach and to keep the wash temperature below 30℃ . Towels will naturally become softer with each use.  Dry cool-medium heat or hang dry for a fast, minimalist eco-friendly finish.  

Should your textile snag — attempt to work the thread back into the textile or simply clip the snagged thread. Refrain from pulling threads.  

As you use you Turkish Towel, fringe may untie in time. To prevent knots from becoming untied, please check fringe before washing for loose knots and tighten knots as necessary.
